We continued to push the limits of what is possible in a 530-seat mountain theater in 2025, with 113 ticketed performances at the Vilar across a wide variety of genres. That's a performance almost every three days!
Elevating artistic
excellence
Investing in the future
The Vilar completed significant facility renovations in 2025 to elevate both the guest and artist experience, including a redesigned upper lobby with a new full-service bar, a bistro seating area, and a dedicated coat check room, along with enhanced artist green rooms and dressing rooms. The renovations enhance the Vilar’s ability to attract top-tier talent and provide guests with an elevated pre-show and intermission experience.
Expanding community arts access
The Vilar’s Community Arts Access program expanded in every facet in 2025, increasing the number of tickets offered, shows included in the program, and local groups partnering with the Vilar to distribute tickets to those who need them most. A new ticket lottery system was also introduced to give locals the opportunity to apply for free tickets to select shows at the Vilar. Through these expansions, the Vilar offered over $170,000 worth of free or steeply discounted tickets in 2025 to help community members experience the magic of live performing arts.
Inspiring the next generation
In 2025, the Vilar once again brought the performing arts to local students for free through the STARS (Support the Arts Reaching Students) program, providing transformative cultural experiences that inspire creativity and broaden horizons. The program’s impact extends beyond entertainment, fostering appreciation for the arts while making these experiences accessible regardless of economic circumstances. Through STARS, the Vilar distributed 6,000 free tickets in the last year and covered all costs, including transportation, to ensure that financial barriers never prevent young people from experiencing the power of live performance.
