Racing toward
Olympic glory

Collaboratively conquering challenges

Despite a warm and dry early season followed by heavy snow and wind during the event, we worked in lockstep with the International Ski and Snowboard Federation (FIS), Beaver Creek Resort, and Stifel U.S. Ski Team to creatively overcome Mother Nature’s obstacles and deliver three exceptional Men’s Audi FIS Ski World Cup races December 4-7, with modified courses and schedules. We maintained close communication with the public through multiple adjustments, including one race cancellation, two races moved up by a day, and one race called early due to weather. Through it all, the four-day festival thrived, proving that collaborative partnerships enable us to adapt and succeed.

USA back on the downhill podium

Stifel U.S. Ski Team star Ryan Cochran-Siegle finished second in the 2025 downhill race, the first American athlete to podium in the Birds of Prey men’s downhill since Steven Nyman in 2014. Cochran-Siegle called it “special” to podium in front of an American crowd on the course where he scored his first-ever World Cup points in 2011. Hometown hero River Radamus also had a great weekend, nabbing sixth in the giant slalom—his best ever finish on the Birds of Prey course—while up-and-comer Ryder Sarchett landed the first World Cup points of his career, finishing 25th in the giant slalom.

Odermatt on top & Kilde’s comeback

World Cup leader and Swiss captain Marco Odermatt continued his early-season hot streak in Beaver Creek with victories in both the downhill and giant slalom, proving that he is the man to beat in the Milano-Cortina Winter Olympics. Meanwhile, Norway’s Aleksander Aamodt Kilde made his downhill comeback at the 2025 Stifel Birds of Prey. It was just his second race back, nearly two years after suffering a horrific crash during the World Cup downhill in Wengen, Switzerland.
